Heather B. Centurioni
With a talent for dreaming up all things creative, Heather Brooke Centurioni has used her love for writing and inviting to create a successful design studio. While designing her own wedding invitations in 2003, Heather realized she had a budding business in her hands when guests started placing orders for their own invitations. Not one to follow the normal ink and paper trends, she built a business on adding fabric to every design. In 2004 she founded HBDesigns and in 2010 she launched a wholesale line. Each fabric-based creation is handmade in her Plano, Texas studio and the line has grown to include designs in metal, plastic, wood and cork. Heather’s line can be found in over 100 retailers nation wide.
In Heather’s spare time, she cooks. She once went three years straight without buying bread, instead baking it fresh. Heather is known to throw fabulous parties for her children, handling all the details, including baking beautiful cakes. She’s proud to tell you she cooks and sits down to the table with her family almost seven nights a week.
Heather also takes freelance writing jobs from time to time. In 2010 she was hired by the Canadian Broadcast Company to write about her brother’s journey to the Olympics. Heather’s 2011 cover story for Vail Magazine won her great praise for storytelling.
Heather and her invitations have been featured on The Today Show, CNN and Fox News. Her designs have graced the pages of pages Family Circle, Daily Candy, Dallas Brides and more.
Heather is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Heather resides in Plano, Texas with her husband, Stephen, their daughters, Sophia and Eloise and their Dachshunds, Coco and Dior.
